Pressed Flowers Bookmark
Hello everyone!!!!
Hope you are done well.
Recieving a handwritten letter is always a beautiful experience but when a letter comes along with a surprise gift it makes the reciever more than happy . So i always add something in my envelope with my outgoing letters - a little surprise to get a smile on my pen friend's face .
This time i made these Pressed Bougainvillea Bookmarks for my friends and you know what they turned out soo beautiful that i dont feel like sending them away.😉😜...haha just kiding but yes they turned out soo pretty that you must give it a try.
So here i am sharing how to make this bookmark
1. Cut your cardstock into 7cm *18.5 cms bookmark
(I used a black cardstock which is 300 gsm for the bookmark cut into the above measurements .You can use any color cardstock and your desirable measurement for the size of bookmark you prefer to make)
2. Next i placed the pressed flowers and leaves on the bookmark and previewed the placing of the flowers and leaves . Once i was happy with the placing i added little amount / a small drop of glue behind every flower and stick it to the bookmark.
3. Then i hand drew the leaf pattern all over the remaining space on the bookmark as a filler with my white uniball signo 0.7 pen . By the way the leaf pattern is my favourite and a saviour too. I draw it when i can't think of any other pattern and believe me it looks good everytime.
4. Next i added a few golden dots here and there to add interest to my bookmark and also made a border with the same golden pen .
5. Next i sealed my bookmark with the sticker sheet on the top so as to increase the life of my bookmark. You may also use modpodge in place of sticker sheet and do share with me how it works.
6. You can also add a hole with a punch at the bottom of the bookmark and add a tassel or any other hanging but i like it simple so i didnt work on it further.
Now i am going to try this bookmark with other pressed flowers too. And if you also try making one , then do share your reviews with me.
Would love to hear from you
Will be back soon
Till then take care
Lots of love
