Get Well Soon Cards

Hello my Crafty Friends.

I hope you all are doing well. Today i have a couple of cards to share with you using Tubby Crafts- Bird get well soon stamp set and Scallop cloud stencils .

GET WELL SOON CARD

I started by taking a card base of 15cm *15cm . I layered it with a 14cm *14cm cardstock. Using the Scallop cloud stencil, lead grey dye ink pad and blending brushes i stencilled the pattern on the cardstock. Next i glued a circular vellum paper on the card and added some hand drawn clouds around it. Next i stamped the toucan from bird get well soon stamp and coloured it using gouche paints. I added this toucan next to the clouds . Then i stamped up the sentiment Flying by to say..... get well soon on a white cardstock and glued it on a yellow sheet. Then i glued it to the card. And my card is ready.

To make it into a valentine day card , i stamped up and coloured a fern from the same stamp set and added it in the beak of the toucan and added the sentiment Toucan of love .

BIRDIE SHAKER CARD

For the birdie shaker card, I have taken a white card base . Then I had cut out 3 panels out of my watercolour sheet . Then using tubby craft – Scallop Cloud stencil , dye ink pads Aqua blue and Sapphire blue , and blending brushes I made my own pattern paper on one of the panel . Once the pattern paper was ready , I glued it to the base of the card . Then I added mounting tape around the pattern paper forming a rectangular box and added some colourful shaker elements inside the boundary I created with the mounting tape. Then I added the acrylic sheet/ohb sheet on the top to seal the shaker elements. Next I added the white panels on the left and right of the shaker window on the card base.

Then using the stamp set bird get well soon, I stamped up the beautiful Toucans and ferns and coloured it using gouache paints . I added the birds and ferns around the shaker box .I added the sentiment flying by to say , get well soon from the same stamp set And my card is ready.
